App Design: Inspiration Galleries

Written by Matthew Warlick

May 5, 2011

I’ve decided to start posting more of my design and interactive work, both to show what I’m working on between illustration and comic gigs, and to help keep the blog fresh as I tend to have long stretches where I can’t post because of deadlines or a lack of new art.

For the past few months I’ve been working as Creative Director for an upstart mobile dev shop, IdeaLoop,  founded by my good friend Chris McCroskey and coder extraordinaire Robert Hanacek, both of whom I met while working at Rockfish Interactive in 2010. We’re slowly developing a respectable portfolio of interactive work including websites, mobile sites and iPhone/iPad apps.

The first of which I had a hand in is the above Daltile and American Olean “Inspiration Galleries”. They’re a slick interactive photo gallery featuring their tiling products in home decor and outdoor settings.

So, if you’re into interior design or just want a cool reference for awesome interiors find in in the Apple Store.
