Here’s a character I don’t draw nearly enough, Scud: The Disposable Assassin. This piece was the last in my twitter-based #followme4freeart contest.

The always amiable (and fellow illustrator for hire) Jay King donated his piece to mutual friend Ken Lowery (co-creator of both Fake AP Stylebook and The Variants).

Here’s a side-by-side shot of the original art and 11×17 giclée print for comparison.

Now I want to pick up that giant Scud omnibus that came out not too long ago.
