I’ll be out at my home store Madness Games & Comics this Saturday, May 2nd for Free Comic Book Day. I’ll have new art prints for sale not yet available in the online store and will be taking commissions and doing free head sketches for kids under 12.
Featured guests include Jake Llyod (Anakin Skywalker), Ray Park (Darth Maul), and Peter Mayhew (Chewbaca) plus over 25 thousand free comics to give away. We’ll also be selling this awesome FCBD tee shirt that I designed and that you can only get during the event.
The Free Comic Book Day event goes from 9am until Midnight.

My buddy and frequent DCC collaborator Devin Pike asked me to contribute the key art for this years Dallas Comic Con Shindig after-party extravaganza… so here’s Captain Mal in his underwear in a Barcolounger playing the classic MTV game show Remote Control. If we can get this to happen in real life my year will be made!
Captain Tightpants here will appear on poster art and on the official VIP Shindig Badges. The Shindig starts Saturday, May 30th at 7PM, tickets available here.

I’ve been working with some new materials and subjects lately, including portrait type works of various insects at the marco level. This fuzzy guy is one of my recent favorites and the kick ass frame sculpted and donated by Lhars Ebersold finishes it off perfectly.
This guy is already sold but his cousin Dapper Dan is up for sale over on EveryDayOriginal.com (more info about that can be found in my previous post).
